Edited by seekic.com,the leading IC purchasers' best choice of platform for one-stop valued service!
Description:

The HLC1395 is a miniature infrared sensor designed to sense reflective objects at short distances. There are some features as follows. First is side-looking plastic package. The second is phototransistor output. Then is IR emitter and phototransistor detector in a single package. Next is low profile for design flexibility. The fifth is designed for short distance detection. The sixth is high sensitivity. The last one is unfocused for sensing diffused surfaces.

What comes next is about the absolute maximum ratings (25℃ free-air temperature unless otherwise noted). The operating temperature range is from -40 to +85℃. The storage temperature is from -40 to +85℃. The soldering temperature (5 sec) is 240℃. Then is some ratings about the IR emitter. The reverse voltage is 3 V. The continuous forward current is 50 mA. The power dissipation is 100 mW. Next is some ratings about the detector. The collector-emitter voltage is 30 V. The emitter-collector voltage is 5 V. The power dissipation is 100 mW. The collector DC current is 30 mA.

The following is about the electrical characteristics (25℃ unless otherwise noted). First is about the IR emitter characteristics. The maximum VF (forward voltage) is 1.6 V. The maximum IR (reverse current) is 10μA at VR=3 V. Then is about the detector characteristics. The minimum V(BR)CEO (collector-emitter breakdown voltage) is 30 V at IC=100μA. The minimum V(BR)ECO (emitter-collector breakdown voltage) is 5.0 V at IE=100μA. The maximum ICEO (collector dark current) is 100 nA at VCE=10 V, IF=0. The maximum VCE(SAT) (collector-emitter saturation voltage) is 0.5 V at IC=40μA, IF=10 mA. The maximum ICX (crosstalk) is 15μA at VCE=5 V, IF=10 mA. The typical tr,tf (rise and fall time) is 15μs at VCC=5 V, IC=0.3 mA, RL=1000Ω.
